Lions Club Toy Drive 2014
The annual Carrizo Springs Lions Club Christmas Toy Drive was a big success again this year due to the generous contributions by Chesapeake Energy and their service vendors. The Lions Club extends an appreciation to Mr. David De La Cruz from Chesapeake Energy for his efforts in gathering the toys that were distributed to the children and for the monetary donations that were used to purchase gift cards for food to those families. The recipients were local families and those with the Wintergarden Women's Shelter.

Coat & Blanket Drive 2022
In December of 2021, the Carrizo Springs Lions Club, in combination with the local Chamber of Commerce, held a coat & blanket drive. Local businesses and community members donated coats, gloves, blankets and shoes. Donations were used to purchase a large amount of much needed gloves, socks & stocking hats. The items collected were donated to Operation Christian Love to be given to families and homeless veterans in need. What a blessing it was to help those who truly are in need.
